Cyclone
It was clear enough for you to understand. Do you actually have anything useful to add? Otherwise get back under your bridge.
Cyclone
Chrome has a spell checker built in by default. Didn't know that. Seems like common sense though.

Cyclone
You seem to be confused. This is a useful thread for anyone that needs a spell checker. You have made no contribution at all though.

Berberis
Or ... as most people have some sort of word processor and even if you do not want to pay for one, there are free alternatives (open office, Star office) you could just copy and paste your text into one of those, correct the spelling and grammar and paste back. But, typos do happen.
poppins
I use Tinyspell but it throws the odd irritating americanism in now and then.. On mine I get the odd irritating Yorkshireism with the Aitch's missing now and then

mojoworking
It's true that typos do happen all the time and are unavoidable. But as you say, spell checkers are available almost everywhere, so generally there's no excuse for poor spelling. However, some people don't care about such things as grammar, spelling and punctuation and view those that do with great suspicion or even fear. This often manifests itself as disdain or aggression. And if I had a quid for every time someone has erroneously posted "here, here" on SF, then I'd have, oh, £17.543.
