falpere
I've noticed more darker orange coloured bumbles recently. Me too, where are they from? I don't recall seeing any of them before going dormant at the end of last season!!
falpere
Only the wimpy ones. Other places have bugs and have colder winters - the bugs survive. The UK used to have real winters and the bugs survived those, too. I saw an 18-spot bishy-barnabee yesterday. Han't seen one of those in a while. Thats true, but as taxman says, there are a lot of darker orange bees on the move. They weren't here last season. Have they migrated from overseas over the past few weeks? Very strange!! falpere
Black and yellow are back in force. The orange ones seem to have buzzed of to where they came from, wherever that was!
