I live over in the pet forum - and am always trying to highlight the problem of abandoned dogs and cats around Sheffield - one of the cruelty hot spots in the uk. Doing all my hands on stuff - I don't get the chance to shout out to the people of Sheffield just how bad it is. At the moment the Council Dog pound has 54 dogs sat in it waiting for home - we in our small rescue have 10 dogs in paid boarding - and so many many more around the city. I am trying to find someone who would like to work with us to raise publicity for the problem and hopefully raise awareness of the dogs needing homes. I have asked for someone off our own forum - but then wondered if this was something that maybe some of the Writers Forum would be interested in building up - I would think someone thats passionate about pets - but not necessarily so.
