wednesday1
And have you got figures to back that up in comparison to what they bailed the bankers out to the tune-of? Think you'll find it's chicken feed at the side of what the loss making, bonus-grabbing, bankers have had out of the tax payer. I will agree with you though that Labours continuation of Lassiez faire has done us all no good at all & that must mean REAL change! Well we're not gonna get any change from laissez faire from the Tories. It will be far,far worse. Best hope remains Labour.
Kingmaker2
Theres a bit of difference between calling a journalist a 'major league asshole' and calling a member of the public bigoted when two minutes earlier he was smarming all over her. There won't need to be any media propaganda with this incident - Brown did all their work for them, all they need to do is air what happened. Speaks for itself. The point I was making was that all politicians, and indeed people like me and you say things in private that we wouldn't necessarily say to them in public, only you and I don't get scrutinised by the media. It's a gaff but it's by no means fatal, as some seem to think.

You do seem remarkably determined to divert things thread off topic. What's wrong don't you like to discuss your leader's public persona? I note that the media isn't as easily diverted. It's not fatal to the Labour party is what I meant. Whether or not Brown is a dead man walking is a different matter.

Brown's true persona was on display today. The bullying is now beyond doubt.
rubydazzler
Yay Gordon! Go Gordon! I love him for this! A gaffe of monunmental proportion! Typical Labourite, smile in your face and slag you off behind your back. He could at least have had the courage of his convictions and said it to her face. What a selfserving wimp, he's pathetic! He's succeeded in confirming all the worst fears of some of the electorate, that the top politicians are all smarm when they want your vote, and then ridicule and patronise you when they think they're in safe company. It's a disgrace. Really. Calling someone a bigot just because he doesn't agree with what they said? Anyone would think he'd honed his skills on SF
Kingmaker2
Brown's true persona was on display today. The bullying is now beyond doubt. The gaff shows that like all of us, Brown can get a bit peeved off when things don't turn out how he likes them to, he may have over played Ms.Duffy's stance, but there was no evidence to point to bullying though.
