md1sxc Posted April 30, 2010 Share Posted April 30, 2010 As the title suggests does anyone have any advice as regards somewhere to eat out on Saturday night around the Handsworth area? We've eaten at Zeenab and Eskitium (as was) on a few occasions, but fancy somewhere different...don't care whether it is italian, greek, indian whatever, just fancy a nice restaurant meal! Was thinking about trying Lajawab on Handsworth Road, has anyone eaten there recently, has it got a decent atmosphere? Really don't want to eat down at centertainment, and don't really want to jump on the 52 and head into town/West Street, but I am thinking that is the only real option! There's Five Spices on Market Square Woodhouse but I find their curries a bit on the dry side. Lajaweb has changed hands recently. S9 may provide more options.
