Highfields
Ok the cultures who insist on the wearing of the burkha are all muslim based cultures...I can be pedantic as well It's quite amazing how they always try and ignore the common denominator. Highfields
How do you do, you must be King Wrong of the Wrong-people?The Taleban murdered some schoolgirls in afghanistan recently. Another attrocity that falls into the common denominator bracket.
Highfields
Will you ban skirts as well because some Christian groups insist women wear them and not trousers? You tell me a so-called Christian country that arrests women for wearing skirts. Where are there Christian Religious Police, what country/state?

Highfields
and these cultures may predate Islam Yes but this is the 21st century not prehistoric times, next you'll be saying that it's part of our culture for women to wear chastity belts as they did in the middle ages when their husbands work away from home. Highfields
it's like saying every catholic priest is a kiddy fiddler and that is simply not true. It was probably only about one in ten, maybe one in five if you allow a fumbled grope into the equation. So are you saying that one in every ten muslims is a potential/wannabe terrorist and that one in five has a bomb making pamphlet?
boyfriday
Try walking into your local bank wearing them over your head, then come back and tell us how you got on. If you were a recent lottery winner and member of the 'Tights on your Head' religion, your local bank manager would probably wear his Y-Fronts on his head to welcome your arrival
