Sheff2006
Is spot the ball still alive and well in newspapers? If not, when did it stop being in The Star? Sh2006.
gabby
When I was younger, my dad told me to stick a pin in the spot-the-ball picture. If you heard hissing, that's where the ball was! I believed him as well! Mind you, i was only 23........
Treatment
I always prefered the Sheffield Wednesday version - spot the crowd.
Davekowl
Spot the ball was kicked into touch a few years ago in all publications and bookmakers because the results were constantly being challenged. The rules stated that the ball was where a panel of experts decided it was and not where it actually was so it was open to all sorts of challenges and charges of being a fiddle. crookesey
I always prefered the Sheffield Wednesday version - spot the crowd. Like at SUFC, spot the stand, south sorry, north sorry.
