I think it is a tempting suggestion....however, it could be a case of too many people with too many varied ideas at this early stage if you are suggesting an open discussion about a new bar/venue. The first and primary consideration is to secure a suitable venue, which is nightmarishly difficult in Sheffield as everyone is aware. The cost and realization of the venue is the single prime factor, because it pre-determines in many ways the direction and budget of all the subsequent possible solutions. If you are however, just suggesting a pub crawl......lets do it.... And for those of you who have NOT checked out WESTWAY on Tuesday/Wednesday nights, go on...give it a try.... Classic Rock Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 I'm starting up another rock night at the Red House - Solly Street Tuesday nights - Buffy's Rock Music Quiz Show - win a gallon of ale. Friday nights - Splodge's rock disco (3 Fridays per month, 1st Friday of each month she's at the Horse and Jockey, Wadsley Lane doing a rock show) ------------------- I'm still doing the White Bear in Ecclesfield on Friday nights and the Moorfoot Tavern on Saturdays.
