So Labour have blown it!

Recommended Posts

if labour finish second or third then i don't think the lib dems will deal with them.

Well Clegg has consistently refused to clarify his position, flip flopping in almost every direction.

However from the Andrew Marr interview Clegg did say he wouldn't want to prop up a government that finished last in the popular vote......but he made no mention if Labour actually beat the Lib Dems in the popular vote.

So I certainly wouldn't rule out Clegg doing a deal with Labour if they dangle electoral reform (But not PR) in front of him.

As far as the Conservatives go, they indeed will try to form a government without the LibDems if they possibly can and will look to other alliances first.

I hope it's going to be sunny, it helps if your going to have a fight with your own shadow.

I really think that you have no understanding of the resentment that is felt by "ordinary" people today. A powder keg is waiting to explode.

They are no more, they have ceased to exist

Labour ceased to exist with the advent of the likes of Tony Blair, Peter Mandelson and Ed Balls.

John Smith had died in 1994, Neil Kinnock had sold his soul to ride the EU gravy train and MPs of conscience became fewer and far between.

Labour became NuLabour, the Tories with a (seemingly) friendlier face.

You have it in a nutshell VB.

Can't help but shed a tear for what should have been if John Smith hadn't died so tragickly, but I hope the traitors burn in hell.
