SDLP MP's have always taken the Labour whip (no reason why this won't happen again) 2. The Alliance MP who defeated Peter Robinson in Belfast East will take the Lib Dem Whip. Therefore it is reasonable to assume that the combined Lib/Lab total should increase by about 5 as it is almost certain Labour could rely on Lady Sylvia Hermon from North Down (she does not like Cameron and regularly voted with Labour in the last Parliament). The position of Plaid Cymru would also be vital. Therefore a Conservative Minority Government is not a certainty. I think it is the most likely outcome for now but bear the above points in mind.
