nerd Posted May 6, 2010 Share Posted May 6, 2010 I think that in certain circumstances it is possible to set up someone as a "proxy" voter, who goes in your name and votes as you tell them to. I think (although may be wrong), that in exceptional circumstances you can set up someone as your proxy at short notice. If you know you are likely to be in and out of hospital you can also do a postal vote which can guve you a bit more time - for someone to bring your letter to you in hospital and post it for example.
