The Lib Dems feel much more allegiance to Labour than to the Cons, thus their voters would defect to Labour to BLOCK the Cons....AND RIGHTLY SO! SO MUCH FOR MORALS AND SCRUPLES!:hihi: the national interest means morals and scruples needs to come second. our economic situation requires a stable government, the only way we can get one is a conservative-libdem alliance of some sort or possibly a national government a conservative minority government or a rainbow coalition of the other parties would not be stable enough.
