andyofborg
Just mark my words. Only a fool thinks that this conceived alliance can last. the main question really isn't whether it lasts, but whether it lasts long enough to stabilise the economy and start dealing with the deficit
Barry Ster
.....and why would labour win then? Because the alliance will have some months to show its true incompetence. It will become immediately evident in a matter of weeks.
Barry Ster
the main question really isn't whether it lasts, but whether it lasts long enough to stabilise the economy and start dealing with the deficit Economies are never truly stable. If the history of politics and economics teaches us one lesson, that should be it.

Barry Ster
..........and history also teaches us that nulabour are about to have a night of the long knives. It does not teach us that at all. There are differences of opinion in Labour , it is true. These will surface. The Lib Dems and CONS however have no political differences , hypocrites never do.:hihi:

Barry Ster
And you're basing your statement on what? Upon my prediction that very serious cracks will quickly appear. The two parties are incompetent in their own right, although in different ways. They are now a double whammy. The fuse will fizz for a while , but it will reach the powder keg quite soon. wednesday1
And you're basing your statement on what? I posted on another thread that Bill Hill's are offering 13/8 on this ConDem alliance not lasting a year. Certainly worth a tenner!
