GrannyGranny
I think he means "bought a car at Bawtry Auctions, engine fails on car but seller says tough eventhough car is still in warranty". I always thought the time limit for returning cars to an auction was very small, something like 1 hr and generally they are sold as seen. If they misrepresented the car then SOGS may apply. If the car is still in warranty ie. manufacturers warranty, then take it up with them. Thats why cars from Auctions are mostly a lot cheaper than a dealer or private. In all cases with buying a used car always remember "buyer beware". Also check if the car has a service history and evidence of work carried out. Stamps in a book don't mean sh$t without the receipt. NoddyHolder
I bought a car from Bawtry ,turned out to be a ringer, caused ructions at Bawtry ,got my money back and returned car.this is the best bit...They then re-listed and sold it in the auction knowing it was a ringer
