Help needed for industrial photography/history book

Hi !

Just wondered if anyone could give me any pointers or help.

Im putting a book together depicting the loss of Sheff's industrial past, its present and its future (?)

I have a particular interest in the steel and cutlery industry, having photographed many of the derelict cutlers.

 

If anyone could point me in the direction of any empty/closed/or working foundrys, factorys or cutlery factories please let me know, doesnt matter how small or large, all types of workplaces give a varied view of the past of the city from the working side of life.

Hi Laura, I think Sheffield Librarys local history dept.,have a photographer doing similar record phots. Maybe they can supply you with a list of suitable locations.
