Tshombe
We always have done in diplomacy, some people call in realpolitik. Basically if it's in our countries interest to be friends with a country which has a questionable human rights record our government will to turn a blind eye to it.Oh and we get what from Pakistan other than people which is their biggest export industry to this country. truconstruct
If the Government hadn't gone for the face saving option and declared these guys innocent then there would be little reason for their torture....IMO. They went for vanity and end up with this mess of a compromise. Oh its still here, seems that editing has been a bit lax tab.

JFKvsNixon
Oh and we get what from Pakistan other than people which is their biggest export industry to this country. Can't you see how it's a strategically important country just by looking at the map?
Panthera
That's an illogical position to take. If you believe in human rights you won't want him extradited, and if you don't, you can't argue that terrorists are taking yours away. i believe in self preservation first and foremost....send him back
tab1
Oh its still here, seems that editing has been a bit lax tab.Yes indeed read it out aloud a few times so that it sinks in the thick skull of yours. It doesn't say they were declared innocent but discussing the possibility IF they had been declared innocent then the Pakistanis would not have any reason to hound them.
