Bit of a contradiction there but you're wrong anyway, religious clerics cannot overturn civil court judgements in th UK but they can in Pakistan, end of story.
You are sooo yesterday. The dictatorship was swept away by the elections and a corrupt Government installed. The one thing that is paramount is the Law and not the clerics. Get your facts right not just guess at them.

A British ctizen was recently on Death Row because the muslim clerics overturned a civil court judgement.

18 years in chokey AFTER being acquitted is OK then as long as they didn't actualy chop his head off.
