Kthebean
Parachute jump. Someone told me it would be a good idea so I went with it, forgetting that I am scared of heights at the time. Oh well, it was worth it in the end and I too survived to tell all. Yes I can confirm it happened, I was there

Alcoblog
I always equate the word 'dare' with 'let's have a nasty accident' A 'friend' of mine used to represent Britain in waterskiing. He decided it'd be a good idea if I learnt so he 'dared' me. He had a very powerful speedboat a lake and very sadistic sense of humour. Suffice to say I didn't get the customary lessons for which he was employed by the lakes owners.I got dragged headfirst off the jetty at about thirty MPH and headfirst up the ski jump. I was so scared I didn't think to let go! Suffice to say ... I didn't bother having another go
