alchresearch
Not sure if that's a good thing. I've been held by police for as long as possible because I've wound them up or upset them in some way for spoiling their day.

llamatron
Do you agree with the cuts in police spending and front line policing? I don't see a problem with cuts in spending no. A cut in spending could come from many different factors. My experience of the police in the past has been laughable so it depends again what the cuts in frontline staff entail. If they give them the power to do the job they were trained for there may well be effectively an increase in frontline services and better value for money. This is a step in the right direction. HeadingNorth
Is there such a thing? What's officially classed as "front line policing" might, and usually does, differ widely from what the general public might think of it to mean.
Darth Vader
Oh, glad that's all sorted, then. I feel much more reassured now.

Darth Vader
Just watching Theresa May's speech to the Police Federation Annual Conference. She certainly wants to appear tough on crime - she's come dressed as Robocop. Love it, how she's using Blair's words, 'Tough on crime, tough on the courses of crime'.
