bluevan
My mums car had a faulty injector, got a new one ( second hand) had it fitted today and reprogrammed by ford, drove it home and its leaking water, no power and over heating, any ideas? I was wondering if its the gasket gone now?, Thanks Kathy
DragonofAna
I would not bet my life on it but do not think this is a gasket problem. Sounds like either a faulty hose or a cam belt problem or both. Check the hoses for leaks is the easiest way. If you find one - replace and may solve your problems. It is also the cheapest. From what I have read a faulty hose can affect the car's power, and would be indicated by a coolant leak. But like I said - I would not swear on it. I'm relatively new to diesel engines.
