purdyamos
You know the bit in Fantasia where the brooms come to life with the Sorceror's Apprentice? I think this is an up to date version with Philippe Starck kitchen utensils.
Vague_Boy
They do look a bit rubbish, but as I couldn't give a fig about the Olympics, it's not going to bother me.

Tony
I absolutely love them. We're often a bit too quick to knock stuff like this. The mascots are fun, dynamic, versatile and look ruddy brilliant! The nod to the Much Wenlock and Stoke Mandeville games is a flash of brilliance and a great reminder of heritage and the dedication and the sheer bloody mindedness of some people who frankly should be doing something much easier. Long live excellence!

It is, but that will be lost on most people. Tony
The BBC had an ID parade of sporting Lion mascots and they missed out World Cup Willy. I scored zero.
