Obviously I don't expect it to have sounded like that of a supervillain, but the general spirit of evil laughter seems to be manically triumphant and/or hysterical pleasure at someone else's misfortune that deems them inferior (so not quite the same as schadenfreude). I love to see the deserved get their comeuppance and often try to be part of it, its one of the few things that makes me laugh and when I DO laugh, its generally a Dr Evil one. Other than that theres the Muttley snigger that I have but thats another story.
