merca2005
Think you missed my point there. Sorry! I've just re-read your post and I can see what your point was. Apologies
Greybeard
http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=Fletchers+Sheffield Thanks - I thought it was on Claywheels lane but couldn't imagine with the restricted access they would get planning permission for a supermarket on that site. If 'they' ever do build a bridge over the river to link with Middlewood road it could be a viable project. there are plenty of Sainsbury's type customers in the Oughtibridge, Worral and Middlewood area. orangejim
council would be daft to give it permission, so close to hillsborough and wadsley bridge shops and the asda at parson cross. didnt tesco want to open oppostie the wednesday ground a few years ago??? and asda at wednesdays training ground??? hopefully this wont get very far either! mahonia
Im all for it , Jobs for the area , there are traffic lights at the junction so no need to dig up the road and mess around , plus the area has suffered since the supermarket on Kilner Way went , its been build on waste land so no upsetting the green belt etc etc , do we have any plans yet ? damo
would prefer an Asda So the one being built at Parson Cross won't do you then?
speeder
So the one being built at Parson Cross won't do you then? obviously too far to travel!! the roads around there need sorting before they put anything that will attract that amount of vehicular travel, and the new designs for the junction at the bottom will do nothing to help anyone coming down there. Left the UK
Typical, I used to drive from Ougtibridge to Archer Road for decent food every week. I moved to Australia and they propose to build a Sainsbury's near where I lived - I might have just stayed!
