BBQ in Sheffield

Hi,

 

I wanted to plan a little get together of friends and was wondering if there is any place in or around Sheffield that anyone might be aware of where I can plan a BBQ? My apartment doesnt have a terrace and so I need to find a place outside

endcliffe park lets you BBQ but i would take some bricks to rest it on so it doesn't burn the grass.

I believe you can hire the BBQ in the beer garden at the University Arms pub.

yeah you can hire the university arms out if you have enough people i also believe there is a public BBQ on the 11th June with live music in the beer garden from 5pm

Thanks so much for the info. Does anyone have a phone number for Endcliffe park. I did find one on the internet but no one is picking up the phone. I just wanted to make sure that BBQ is allowed in the park before I go there tomorrow.

I've done BBQs in the past with my uni mates in Endcliffe Park, no trouble at all, and same with lots of people by the number of burn marks on the grass.

I concede with scottf about bringing bricks.

 

There's Pondarosa as well, BBQed there last summer.
