chem1st
The government is investing £170 million in building social housing 4000 homes £170 million £42500 per property. I think that more could be built with that money but nevermind, it is a start. £42.5k per property would be an amount most NMW workers could afford to get a mortgage for. £42.5k seems reasonable for the price of a property. Which begs the question.. How OVERPRICED is yours!

HeadingNorth
ERM....whatever happened to Thatchers right to buy policy? It is still in place. However, using some of the money raised from it to build new property is not necessarily a bad idea.

chem1st
How can one survive in half a bedroom? 1 or 2. Although a lot of new builds have bedrooms about half the size of what they used to be! Bedsits are 0 bedroom properties and many survive quite well.
