Bedders Posted June 1, 2010 Share Posted June 1, 2010 The weather in this country is that good that we aren't self sufficient as a nation & have to import loads of products. Most of the time our veg is force grown under polly-tunnels by artificial light, causing little taste, and is basically an environmental nightmare with all the electricity it takes. All the rain causes slugs & snails to thrive, which makes naturally grown products very difficult hence loads of pesticides...not good. Other than that our weather is great!
