Anyone Traveling to Canada?

Recommended Posts

I too have just returned from Canada!! I agree it is wonderful place, I have been six times!! One place I would suggest anyone should go is the Canadian Heritage museum where the Lancaster bomber is based, it flies from there in the summer. Costs about £1800 (Ithink!) I love the peace and quiet, the wonderful scenery, the people, the fabulouse HUGE homes, need I go on??? Everyone should try to see the Falls awesome!!!!!

Hmmm you're talking about the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum that you can get to driving south from toronto on the QEW right? ;) Article coming up about that in the next couple of months :) - - when you say it costs about £1800 - what costs that?

Scenery is beautiful in so many places of Canada, its almost unfair to name any one place! .. if you're looking to see huge houses ... take a look to your right as you're heading north from toronto up Hwy404 ... theres some houses that look like Hotels!

And yes... everyone should go see niagara falls.. ive been about 8 times to niagara falls, and its taken that many times for me to get a grasp of how big they are in real life!

by the way! thanks to all those who've visited the site so far :) If anyone's interested in putting ideas of places they've been (with a review if possible) i'll look at adding an article about it in the next 2 - 3 months (we've got a pretty full schedual at the moment!)

When you stand at the edge looking at the sheer volume of water going over the falls it’s awesome.

When you are on the Maid of the Mist facing a wall of water and noise it’s assume.

But then you turn around and you have “Blackpool” right behind all that natural wonder.

Canada is an amazing place but the planners dropped a major bo-bo when they allowed that monstrosity to be build, strange how there seems to be nothing on the American side, maybe they had more sense.

Still, more tourists like it for the glitz and glamour that comes along with it that dont hehe - its the crown jewels of Canadian Tourism :) - I'm more there for the falls than anything else, but there's pleanty of people who like the casinos and other attractions too hehe..

Canadians got the best side too, you cant see much from the american side

It was impressive but I would rate a helicopter flight over the Rockies or walking across Capilano bridge as higher points of our tour.
