Brush your teeth twice a day or DIE !!

Recommended Posts

It now has been found that if you don't brush your teeth twice a day then you are going to get heart disease and DIE... :wow::?

Also if you dont brush/comb your hair for more than 3 minutes in the morning you will get Piles and DIE (sic):huh:

Whatever next :loopy:

Well, the study actually shows a statistically significant link between gum disease and heart disease.

However the increase in risk is actually extremely small.

Is another case of a risk "trebling in size" from one in a million to three in a million, or something similar?

That's usually what the media grab hold of and try to frighten everyone into heart failure by telling them they're going to suffer heart failure.

Doesn't it just p** you off!! Its something different everyday. One day wines good for you, the next day its bad. Why is it theres always someone trying to tell you what you should or shouldn't be eating or drinking - and now its the number of times we brush OUR teeth!

Good beer, good food - shared with good people - enjoy!

Does that mean people who haven't got any teeth will live forever??????????

Sadly, no!

I did wonder, when I read the thread title, if it was to be another spoof on the lines of "scientists prove that everyone who uses a toothbrush will die," but apparently it is a genuine story, just blown out of proportion by the media (well, there's a surprise...)
