Space
It'll be the fan belt. Can possibly be adjusted, if not though they're not very expensive.
mike84
First bit of advice, dont, under any circumstances go to Mr Clutch!! Does it only squeak when you press the clutch?
lunartravel
Clutch release bearing caput.
Bedders
Clutch release bearing caput. Ditto. Correct diagnosis. Get the whole clutch changed including the release bearing. That is clutch plate, pressure plate & release bearing. Never have just one of the 3 parts replaced as it is false economy with the labour cost involved! Bedders
thanks all for your advice it squeals when tick over aswell it changes pitch of the squeal when changing gear also Yeah the bearing may be a constant contact bearing with a slight chatter or squeal with foot off the clutch pedal, but as it engages the pressure plate (pressing in the pedal), will 'load' the release bearing & probably get louder or squealier? Try Capel Motors on Capel St. Near McDonalds down Boro. They are a independant specialist for Peugeots. Worth a try for a quote.
