Johnny P
Bloody Hell ! Cherrypie you've got a great memory, I used to be mates with Austin Wragg when he lived on Harbough Avenue on Manor Park and we lived on Stonecliffe Road, if you Speak to him ask him if he remembers John Pickford, We both were in the same class at St Theresa's School (but I was kept back a class) So when I moved to Woodhouse I swaped schools, the next time I saw Austin was at St John Fishers Secondary School and I was in the year above him. Walkley0 Mum
Austin Wragg still lives on the Manor....two doors down from me Hi I'm posting on behalf of innit who's lost his password and email details(and tbh is finding it easier to get me to post than sort himself out!). He's asking if Michael and Kathleen are still around and can you say thank you to Austin for lending him American comics in about 1963 because he doesn't think he ever thanked him. Apparently Austins mum and innits mum used to knock around together at some time in the distant past.
fitzhubert
I lived on Fitzhubert Road in the 1950s, looking out onto Scotia Close. Wulfric Road was the top road to the right and Carey Road was the road to the left. I remember the chip shop, post office and St Swithens church where our mums would stand and watch the weddings on a saturday afternoon.
