Peter, I was amazed, again, to see your post from last July when I looked at the forum . I remember you well  but particularly I knew and remember your sister, Chris [Anne] . You will see from the post to Jimmy that I had a conversation with Liz T who was the same age as your sister where as I am 2 years younger than them.  We were remembering the other people who were at Tapton in our time.  I would dearly love to know how Chris is and how you are and whether you have contacts with others who were there. I was having a conversation about Tapton earlier in the week with my brother Rob who has been doing a bit of searching about its history. He was the one who organised the first reunion.

I have just found this post from my brother.  I am Anne (Chris) Wilkie. I went with him to Sheffield 20 years ago and was disappointed you weren’t there Liz as we were good friends all those years ago.  A group of us went to the church in Ranmoor which was very emotional for me.

My mother was at Tapton Grange from 1935 to 194! ?,  Does any body have an aging relation or friend who would recall Margaret  Cheston, as she was then, although I believe if there was a child already there with the same christian name the second one would be assigned another !. Sadly she has just passed on and  I was curious to its history
