Number Six
How much an hour do soliciters charge and why would i want to work for less. You might not want to work for less, but your job essentially involves gtting heavy things out of a van, plugging them in and then pressing play and pause for a few hours before putting it all back again. Not exactly skilled. I reckon most people could learn to do it in a day or so. A solicitor has specialised knowledge that takes years to learn. If you charge too much, someone else can take your place in a day or so. Solicitors don't have that probelm, ergo they get paid more.

Number Six
That is a very simplistic view. I couldn't be bothered going in to a detail explanation of Labour theory. It's basically an issue of supply and demand for labour. As there are few barriers to anyone becoming a DJ, wages are held down because any increase in demand leads - briefly - to higher wages before supply of DJs increases when people are drawn by the higher wages. This increased supply pulls wages down again. You can google if you want more detail, or carry on trying to charge yourself out at solicitors rates. Not got a gig tonight?
