Suppose your White Majority Ethnic and live in the UK and you want to try and get a job that is only open to Black & minority Ethnic groups.

Is it morally acceptable to lie about your ethnicity in order to have the equal opportunity of applying for said job?

Just say you're Dutch or Belgian, something like that.

It might be a bit tricky to say you're black on the application form if you're white and then have to turn up at the interview dressed like Al Jolson. How long would you have to keep the pretence up?

You could always paint your face and talk with a Jamaican accent? Maybe turn up with some Reggae Reggae sauce?
