emma royd
That's a good idea because square rooms are more versatile than rectangular ones. I would suggest putting sliding doors in rather than a fixed partition though, so you can open the room up again if you have a lot of guests. It's handy if the in-laws need seperate rooms when they come visiting.

milquetoast1
rent it out to me....I haven't got a downstairs loo....it would be handy for when I am watching television Another cracking idea ... my wife always moans at the kids when they use the downstairs loo for No.2's. Far better to use somebody else's.
Alcoblog
Pickle it in formaldehyde and exhibit it as an installation at Tate Modern. Failing that convert it into a remote drilling platform to plug the oil leak in the Gulf (with the added advantage of shutting the oil leak thread down)
cressida
I think it would be useful when you get older to keep it as it is, save you going upstairs, also saves guests going upstairs to use the loo and having a good nosey round while they are there - extra space? get a conservatory or have a porch built
foxy lady
Put netting over the door opening and keep chipmunks. Or use it to hold a tank for tropical fish.
