G-tech
We will do you the scan for free. There is no way to price up a repair (if needed) until we know what repairs are needed, if any.

jsg103
I took my car into peugot and they charged me £90 for the test!!! I didnt even tell me about there being a charge-was most annoyed and then £370 for the work- said it was a lander sensor something to do with the exhaust fumes and cat converter? This sounds a lot of money- my local garage have looked at it and are charging me £75. what a difference
Panthera
lamda sensors are easy to fit its like a spark plug with wires on it which connects to the wiring loom in the engine bay, if you cant do it yourself it'll take about 20 mins at a garage depending on if other bits have to be removed to get to it or if its fiddly or not, ive replaced lamda sensors on my 2 bmw's and one of my ford escorts...those sensors are a pain in the ar$e, so temprimental

jsg103
I got this fixed lamder sensor fixed and 3 days later the warning light appears again!!! I wonder if the garage really fixed it? To repair a Lamder sensor do they have to empty my oil? My tank was full and by the end was empty?
