Performing and recording 60's Jazz/Soul with Hammond, Brass, Backing Vocals and Fabulous back 4 Rhythm Section. Having just finished recording their Debut CD and getting ready for their Theatre Tour of the UK & Europe, and taking up their monthly residency at Penelopes, this is one busy bunch. Playing wonderful renditions from the 60's archive of music recorded by Ray Charles, Georgie Fame, Dusty Springfield and the Zombies etc. Soulfunkful Romance Waddington aka SoulFunkful is a singer-songwriter who was born in Lusaka Zambia and started singing in the church choir from the age of 13. Romance started singing in a band but left Zambia to study in Tanzania for 2 years. Romance then moved to the UK where she studied Media Studies at Sheffield Hallam University, Sound Engineering at Red Tape Studios and a Music course with the Open University. Romance has been writing songs since she was a small child and continues to do so. Her music is truly from her soul.
