RoyalMail-Modernisation kicking in

Now that mondernisation is kicking in, they are changing once again there delivery times, to delivering mail at even more later times everyday, even on saturdays!!! This will mean even for us, we will be hitting a 3pm finish now everyday.

 

So just wondering, do you prefer this or do you prefer the old early mornings??

Old early mornings for sure, but i dont mind waiting.

With post you have to wait home to sign for, it's helpful if it arrives early and, even more so, knowing roughly at what time.

I'm guessing you have never had a job as a postal delivery worker, but I'm happy to be proved wrong.

As the post never arrives before 8.30am when most people with jobs go to work I can't see that it matters.

As long as it's waiting for me when I get home from work (any time from 4pm onwards) it doesn't matter when it's delivered. Unless it can be delivered by 6:30am of course

But isn't that the point? Hence the poll option: What do you prefer time wise: "Old times-when post was on your table for breaky"

 

When I worked delivering mail, I was back at the sorting office by 8.00 ready to sort the second delivery, having delivered the first by 7.30am well before most folk went to work.
