R4 card for DS lite

Hi my daughter has a DS lite and she came home yesterday asking for an R4 card, I didnt know what one was but eventualy found out its somthing that goes in to the DS with loads of games on it.

 

Does any one know where you can get them from, I looked on a couple of websites but there was so much stuff it just confused me

 

Basically i need to know;

 

1 where you get them from ?

2 Do i need any softwear ?

3 do i need anything else ?

4 how it would work ?

R4 cards were produced to play copied and therefore copyright-broken games.

 

We have a forum rule against discussing, promoting or allowing for sale anything which infringes copyright.
