Guest sibon Posted June 6, 2010 Share Posted June 6, 2010 did you go to the star pub? lol weird as hell, i have photos .............there was decapitated teddys and dolls hung in trees in the beer garden and stuff........very strange I've been to Cayton Bay loads of times. I adore the beach there. I've never been to the village... but having read your description of the pub, it is on my list of things to do this summer. spudgun Posted June 9, 2010 Share Posted June 9, 2010 Little Voice was filmed there - but the club that was used got knocked down (replaced by a barren field) about 10 years ago... I never knew that. Actually in cayton village? We`re camping at the site near the village. It`s really nice and the pub is just off the site at the side of the church. It`s really friendly and they serve lovely food. The food was overpriced, the service was SHOCKING and when it did arrive it was mostly cold. It`s the bigger of the 2 in the village. It`s some years since we went in. I`ll have to check it out this year to see what`s changed if anything.
