Car insurance - is this claimable?

Recommended Posts

You can always make a claim and the insurance company can and often will turn it down.

Then as you've made a claim you'll have to declare it on your renewal form even if it was unsuccessful. So successful or not if you make a claim the next time your insurance comes up for renewal you're like to find the price has been raised somewhat.

You got to weigh up whether or not it's going to be worth it.

You don't have to collide woth another vehicle to make a claim. Any damage to you car can be repaired and claimed for, it will just be your own insurance company that pays and it will act against you at renewal.

You will normally lose 2 years NCB if you claim on your own insurance.

That's what I was trying to say, but you said it better:hihi:
