I can't believe you really meant to do that..

Recommended Posts

On Sunday I drove to Manchester to meet friends for lunch. That evening I was driving back through Disley in a stream of traffic when a car coming the other way turned sharply between me and the car in front causing me to break pretty hard. The car (a dark blue Golf) then disappeared down a flight of stone steps between 2 cottages. I can't believe that the driver really wanted to do that. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

What have you witnessed where you think..."I can't believe you really meant to do that"?

I once witnessed a similar Golf idiot trying to overtake a very poorly BMW billowing smoke behind it on the Holmfirth hill road off the Woodhead Pass, He tried his best to miss the large gritstone block's in the field when he left the road and failed.. Wassock.. He lived to tell the tale and pay the extotionate rate on his next vehicle (Moped).. hopefully..

When in London approaching a roundabout a cyclist overtook me - head down and peddling like crazy. The car in front stopped, but the cyclist didn't. He ended up sprawled all over the boot of the car and had to slowly get off, dust himself down, pick up his bike, remount and wait in the queue at the roundabout.

I thought to myself "Now, I don't believe you meant to do that. You don't want to be crawling all over that boot, you want to apply your brakes, you want to stop before hitting the car ... "
