Tony
With the recent fox attack on babies in their cot there is a call for having a widespread cull of urban foxes. Do foxes belong in towns? Should they be culled?
mattlollar
why don't people just say kill?

missflirtuk
Just because one fox mauled some babies they should all be killed? Anyone thinking that the parent's should have had stair gates and monitors too keep an eye on their kids? Plus why wasn't the 4 year old hurt. Did the fox just think 'oh two for the price of one'. Let's have it? No. I don't think they should be killed. They are animals like the rest of the animals who attack. But then again this forum thinks that whoever doesn't agree with them are wrong. missflirtuk
I meant that if you say something wrong on here that doesn't 'fit in' with others views then they get all huffy and make you feel like you are wrong. I think people should be allowed an opinion without people going off on one.
mojo1
No they shouldn't be culled. One fox attack on two babies does not mean all foxes are suddenly on the war path and desperately trying to eat all children. It's a pretty daft question, really. Tony
In the 90's something like 95% of urban foxes died from mange. It's on the rise again apparently.

Guest
No, they definitely should NOT be culled. That would be the equivalent of culling all humans because one man loses it, gets his guns, and kills 12 people. The parents should be prosecuted for not keeping their children safe. Who would leave children alone when someone could enter the house through an open door, out of view of the parents? It could have been a paedophile, or some other deranged person, who entered their house instead of a fox. What would have been the result then?
