cgksheff
With the recent fox attack on babies in their cot there is a call for having a widespread cull of urban foxes. Do foxes belong in towns? Should they be culled? This one's first on the list!
mojo1
While we are at it, lets cull all urban cats!! My sister was attacked a number of times by next doors cat when she was young! Lets all get guns & shoot them down!! After all cats should be tame animals shouldn't they?! The reaction to this accident has gone way too far! It's not like this sort of attack is a problem that keeps reoccurring is it?? I had my finger bitten off by my pet rabbit when I was two. I'd say rabbits should be next on the list! Sean A
People are free to pay for foxes (urban or rural) to be culled if they are causing a nuisance. You can hire services like this one: http://www.rapid-pest-control.co.uk/Fox+Control+Newbury+Berkshire They come in and either trap or shoot the foxes, depending on location. I'm ambivalent about culling, though. It's a pain when they rip rubbish sacks apart, but our solution was to put our sacks inside bins. Cats fouling my garden is by far the bigger problem for me. Can't we ban cats?
tat lister
If they become a problem or they are suffering badley from mange wich is very common in urban foxes they need culling.

redrobbo
Not too long ago a woman was killed after being trampled on by a cow. Link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-562714/Woman-dies-stampeded-cows-walks-dog.html More recently a man died after being stung by a bee. Link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1264764/Man-died-bee-sting-despite-having-ill-effects-earlier-frequent-stings.html No-one to my knowledge has suggested we cull cows or bees to prevent a similar rare occurance happening again. We therefore need to get a sense of proportion over this unfortunate fox attack on sleeping children - and a cull of foxes is not an appropriate response in my opinion. Should they be culled? Something of a knee-jerk response, perhaps Has this ever happened before? I vote NO
irenewilde
With the recent fox attack on babies in their cot there is a call for having a widespread cull of urban foxes. Do you want to change that to "alleged" attack?
Treatment
Can't they just put foxes on the pill? I appreciate the difficulties in popping the pills out with paws, however.
Tony
Do you want to change that to "alleged" attack? Until the police say otherwise I'm content to run with the it.
