spindrift
Can we stay on topic please? I'm sure that you can go and vent your 20 year old grudge on some other thread. This thread is about John McDonnell. He's playing to the gallery, you can't deny all politicians do that to a degree. Harriet Harman has endorsed Diane Abbott: http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23842678-harriet-harman-nominates-diane-abbott-for-labour-leadership.do And Oona King is going to stand against Ken in London, be interesting to have a black Jewish mayor. It looks as though she has enough support. This just popped up on the BBC news ticker: Diane Abbott secures enough support among Labour MPs to be candidate for Labour Leader
upinwath
Kenny Everett said "Let's bomb Russia" at the Young Tory conference. He was wildly applauded. Senior Tories called Mandela a terrorist. Nobody reprimanded them. If there is evidence McDonnell was building a Time Machine he should, of course, be questioned. Mandella was convicted of sancioning the Church St bombing. He admits his part in these murders. He may be a reformed terrorist but he was a terrorist complete with the blood of dead kids on his hands. upinwath
Back on topic and I'm happy to see this story. It means the lefty cretins are coming out of the labour woodwork to mess them up. Hopefully these cretins will keep spouting crap to keep them unelectable for many years.

He may be a reformed terrorist but he was a terrorist complete with the blood of dead kids on his hands. Mandela was in prison in 1983, it was Oliver Tambo that sanctioned that bombing. When the state prevents peaceful protests with violence and murder the only option for people is violent resistance. That is not left wing thinking it is the thinking that brought about our democracy through opposition to the divine right of kings.
