LLVL
Hi, Does anyone know of anyone really good at leather repairs? I ripped my new leather coat the other month and really do need to get it repaired but it's an awkward one due to the position and how it has ripped so it really needs to be someone very experienced so it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. Thanks, Karl
Cavegirl
If no one here offers a professional service then I can at least offer you a way to repair it cheaply and efficiently yourself. All you need is either some iron-on interfacing or iron-on repair tape both of which should be available from haberdasheries like John Lewis. The tiny metal hooks will hold the leather together so that the rip becomes invisible.
smithy266
Have a chat with The Identity Store at Matlock, yep, I know its not that close, but you will have to travel a long way to find anyone more knowledgable about leather. 01629 581403
