Anna Glypta
31st May was the birthday of William Heath Robinson. Heath Robinson was actually a cartoonist He is best known for drawings of eccentric machines and "Heath Robinson" has entered the language as a description of any unnecessarily complex and implausible contraption. Heath Robinson died many years ago and never saw the new innovations that could have propelled his crazy contraptions to a different level. If he were alive today what mad devices would he be inventing? How about a solar powered lawn mower to kick things off?
