Ousetunes
I used to swear by this place claiming it had the finest garlic bread in Sheffield. It also had beautiful, decent sized steaks but as seems to happen, the prices kept increasing whilst the proportions got smaller. It's still a nice place IMO and worth a visit, but take your credit card because you'll probably need it.

Doom
i used to like kpasa a few years back we always had family meals there. i have been since it was refurbed though and thought it was pricey for quality of food and limited menu. Same here....Kpasa is my all time favourite eating place in Sheffield, but I've only ever once been since it's refurbishment. I go to Piccollos quite a lot now, the more expensive meals (meat, fish etc) are very nice, but years ago I had some pasta there and found that very bland. Saturday night I had the meze starter and barbecued mixed meat dish from the Turkish restaurant up West Street.....As usual it was spot on. rosaespanola
Vito's is pretty good. If you don't mind travelling a bit, La Scala at Millhouses is very good.
libertarian
libertarian would you care to suggest any? I've never had a bad meal at Vito's though it is further out and pricier, especially their very nice wine list. I know of a couple of people who dont like the place for some reason. Tastes vary.
