Cheers I'm using a Netgear ME102 wireless point. The quality is excellent, especially coupled with a Netgear wireless card on my laptop. I get a good signal throughout my home and garden with no problems. Take the distance figures manufacturers quote with a large pinch of salt! I was surprised to find two other wireless networks near my house - both unencrypted. So make sure you make use of the WEP encryption feature to protect your data and internet connection. alchresearch
Absolutely none at all. I have a 40Gb music server on one machine and can access and play my files very smoothly.
Tony
I sometimes get trouble if I am transferring HUGE files, but I think that something else is trying to access a port - wish I knew enough to find out what What is really useful is Second Copy to syncronise files automatically - well worth the registration after the 30 day trail. www.secondcopy.com
