Digsy
I've heard that it is legal to drive/ride a Robin Reliant on a CBT license if you disconnect the reverse gear, as it is then classed as a moped/trike. Is this true?
Moosey
I think the embarrasment of driving a robin outweighs any of the potential benefits.

Ghostrider
I looked into this recently as I also heard you could have a trike on a CBT. Apparently, you have to get B1 entitlemment on your licence...

I'm not sure if the info I was given is accurate and can't find much on the subject, other than the class it comes under don't appear on either a full car license or full bike license. But someone said that if you disconnect the reverse gear, it can be driven on a CBT.

Twiglet
The vehicle is designed to carry more than one person so must be driven with a supervisor on a provisional licence. Although it is category B1, only vehicles designed to carry one person may be driven unsupervised without a full licence entitlement. https://www.askthe.police.uk/content/Q504.htm
