I always thought that Bolton council treated Fred very inconsiderately in refusing him planning permission, and you are now doing what Fred would have wanted. Fred was passionate about our industrial heritage and I think it is important to maintain this and keep it accessible to the public. Sheffield has lost a massive amount of industrial heritage, and even the Churchill tank in Chapeltown which featured in Fred's last television series ('Made in Britain') has now vanished.
